Pendulum
Slipping
away, I said slowly slipping away,
To my dream, to my dream.
The pendulum is swinging – from light to dark,
Which is gonna' be the road to take?
The one that comes easy or the one that’s in the heart,
Lighthouse show me a way beam a reason to me.
Is
it out there in the sea,
Or is it all just a pipe dream in the sand?
There
was a meaning once,
But somehow it got changed,
Twisted and screwed up to suit an “I know” mind.
Should have stayed by a friend of mine,
should
have done what I wanted for a change.
That general’s a money man now,
Planning his next campaign.
Lighthouse
show me a way beam a reason to me.
Is it out there in the sea,
Or is it all just a pipe dream in the sand?
That
generals a good man now,
He learnt from his escapades,
and the road in my heart was chosen, not by me.
Is
this what it’s all meant to be,
Or is it all just a pipe dream in the sand?
Someday
you’ll make it through,
I said someday you’ll make it through.
I said: "one
day . . . ." I said “one day . . . .
You’ll make it through."
One
day, you'll make it through,
I said, one day, you'll make it through,
I said, one day, you'll make it through,
I said, one day, you'll make it through.
